The Medium Soft Reed is great for students who are just starting out. It is easy to play, has a warm and rich sound, and has a thicker tip. Beginners tend to break reeds easily, especially when the tip of the reed is very thin so these reeds are made with that in mind
The Medium reed is great for advanced middle school students to intermediate high school students. The reed is easy to play but still has a warm and rich sound.
